Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress related, and perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. While eliminating anxiety and pressure altogether in this fast-paced world may be idealistic, massage can, without a doubt, help manage stress.
Vacuum cupping is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which we will use silicone or plastic cups on your skin to create a vacuum. This helps lift and separate the different fascia layers of the body while also promoting localized blood flow. This helps to bring fresh oxygenated and nutrient rich blood to the area promoting healing. People receive vacuum cupping for many purposes, including:
to help with pain
inflammation
blood flow
relaxation and well-being
an alternative style of deep-tissue massage.
***Vacuum cupping is integrated into therapeutic massage treatments as clinically indicated and there is no additional charge.
